The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a body-mind exercise therapy aimed at balancing the body physically and, more importantly, energetically.

The body finds support through elongation, not by shortening and tightening the muscles.
Removes unhealthy muscle patterns.
Improves strength, flexibility and stamina.
Uses circular and spiraling movements.
Uses special breathing patterns and rhythm to open energetic pathways in the body and create cardiovascular stimulation.

The system is equally beneficial for rehabilitation after injury, for training athletes and dancers and during and after pregnancy. All ages welcome.

Jane von Bieberstein will tailor your session to suit your personal needs. She uses hand adjustments to help you feel deeper connections and to release unhealthy movement patterns or imbalances.

The session will feel like a combination of treatment and exercises.

Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, Tuesday and Thursday evenings by arrangement.
£55 per one-hour session or £500 for 10 sessions, valid for 4 months.

Gyrokinesis®

These group classes make the Gyrotonic® system available to those who are unable to come for individual sessions. The class starts with a warm-up sitting on a stool, followed by floor movements and ends with standing work.

It is both fun and challenging with a dynamic approach to movement.
It works the entire body focusing on maximum spinal flexibility.
Breathing patterns and rhythm create a pulsation in the body that opens up energy pathways and stimulates the cardiovascular system.
The aim is to move with fluidity, relaxation and power.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing is a wonderfully relaxing treatment based on eastern healing traditions. It is an alternative to massage or cranial sacral therapy, without oils or removing clothing.

Touch is used to locate and release tension held in the bones (which is deeper than muscle-held tension) and as a result the muscles in turn are able fully to release their tension.

The treatment can be used to relieve backache, headache, fatigue, insomnia and nervousness and to clear and calm the mind.
