Teen Yoga

Suitable for: Teenagers

The yoga classes are fun, suitable for all abilities and include age – appropriate yoga postures/sequences, breathing, mindfulness/meditation exercises and deep relaxation.

Claire began her yoga journey after the birth of her middle son in 2001. She loved the way it made her feel more centred, happy and grounded. Not only did it increase her physical strength and flexibility but it also gave her inner calm and clarity, developing her overall sense of wellbeing. Without a doubt yoga has become an integral part of her life, her ‘best friend’.

Claire’s inspiration for teaching was born from the wish to share some of the wonderful treasures of yoga with her three young sons (now in their teens), attending children’s teaching trainings with Yoga Bugs – Yoga’d Up and Calm for Kids. Her passion for teaching has grown organically from there, from teaching young children through to teens, adults and families within the local community.

Claire strongly believes that yoga is a life long journey – always learning and through the unique combination of the body, breath and mind discovering our true essence.

Additional training – CPD courses with Christiane Kerr including Yoga for Teens and Mindfulness and Meditation for Children as well as an Adult Teacher Training: 200 hour International Yoga Alliance with Dru Yoga. DBS checked.
