    A big thank you!

    730pm

Thank you all for making The Garage Studio 15th birthday so special!
Thank you to Janet Whitehouse for her cunning organisation of the wonderful and generous presents I received blushing and jaw-dropped. The frame (below) will live in my office where I can see it and think of you when I’m hard at work. I have no idea how I’m going to spend the John Lewis gift card yet but it will be something I can keep forever like piece of jewellery or art. I will keep you posted…
Thank you Diana Midmer for a lovely speech that went straight to my heart.
Thank you to all the brave clients who jived the night away! Thank you to Matt and Jo from Serene Dance for making it so much fun and dare I say, easy to follow.
Thank you to Julie Farges for the wonderful pictures – don’t you look good!- of what will be a memorable evening.
    What a team we make!
I enjoyed very much being 15 thanks to you all and look forward to sharing the future years with you. Long live The Garage Studio!

    Deep Release Yoga

    630pm-8pm

A mindful practice that involves body rolling with a soft roller, holding comfortable poses passively for up to 5 minutes to release fascia (the body web of connective tissues) and observing the breath to clear the mind and relieve stress, to leave you relaxed, rejuvenated and energised. A very good complement to a busy lifestyle and an ideal start to the week-end! No yoga experience needed.

    Soft Body Rolling Workshop

    3pm-5pm

Fascia is the web of connective tissue of the whole body. When healthy, it is elastic and hydrated so movement is fluid and information travels fast across the body. Ageing, bad postural habits and repetitive stress dehydrate fascia making us stiffer and not so effective at adapting to our environment. Regular massage hydrates fascia bringing back its elasticity and fluidity.

A soft roller is an effective tool to masssage the body. The workshop teaches you how to massage every bit of your body from top to toes in a supportive, informative and fun environment. It suits all abilities.
