Deep Relaxation Class for Shelter
The Deep relaxation class raised £500 for Shelter on Friday January 18 so we are doing it again!
Join us for an hour and a half of pure bliss while helping the essential charity Shelter.
In their own words, “Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through our advice, support and legal services. And we campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to us for help.”
The Deep Relaxation class involves massaging the body with a roller or ball, long-held passive stretches and deep breathing techniques for restoring, rebalancing and healing body and mind. When relaxing, we can listen and observe our physical and mental states to bring them down to a state of alert relaxation. The body becomes a safe and enjoyable place to be, the mind quietens, we feel serene and at peace. We are in an ideal place for healing and energising. This practice is especially good for pain relief, fighting insomnia, stress release and increasing overall well-being.
