Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga works with you on the 3s: Strength, Stability and Stretch. One without the other leads to injury.

We love Iyengar Yoga because it imbues us in the subtleties of precision and correct alignment, combined with breath management to develop your strength and flexibility. This incredible style of yoga uses props to help you achieve a better form, regardless of your experience or body limitations. This means it is open to all ages and abilities.

Iyengar Yoga ensures that any lack of flexibility does not limit your access to the benefits of yoga.
Iyengar Yoga is a great all over body challenge with the added benefits of managing stress and anxiety.

Classes are held on a Sunday morning from 9.30am to 10.45am. To book, please visit our Book Here page.

Which Yoga?

All yoga practices aim at rebalancing body and mind but vary in intensity and format.

We have chosen Iyengar Yoga and Yin Yoga practices for their efficiency at getting rid of tension safely.

Iyengar Yoga is a more active practice leaning towards strength and flexibility while Yin Yoga is a more passive practice relaxing the body and mind.

Both classes welcome beginners, even stiff ones!

Yin Yoga Frankie Arpino

Yin Yoga

This class is a great antidote to the yang of fast-paced lives. The focus is to slow down, unwind, de-stress, allowing you to find stillness and melt away tension in body and mind.

The practise begins with Yin, a stilling, nourishing yogic practice that uses yoga props to support the body while stretching muscles and relaxing the deeper, denser, connective tissues, fascia, tendons, ligaments and joint capsules.

The session ends with a guided relaxation of Yoga Nidra, a state of conscious deep sleep. It is a simple yet profound technique that unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation with inner awareness. The intention is to leave you feeling replenished, calmer and deeply rested, this yoga is as a balm for the soul. Making time and space just for YOU!

Classes are held on a Thursday evening from 6.45pm to 7.45pm. To book, please visit our Book Here page.
